Social

With a focus on India, MSP strives to enable social impact initiatives that empower people and communities affected by entrenched inequities. We support institutions and initiatives actively working in areas related to the environment, sustainability, health, nutrition, diversity and inclusion. We also aim to play a catalytic role in building bridges at the intersection of government, businesses, civil society and communities.

Live post on X by Nikhil Kamath, Zerodha Co-Founder

On Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath’s popular podcast, ‘WTF is’, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw spontaneously pledged her support to a charity chosen by viewers. “With MSP’s support, Takshashila has been able to engage in policy research and education promoting India’s foundational constitutional values. Hundreds of young professionals, civilian and defence officers, and social sector leaders get access to advanced concepts and techniques at our graduate programmes and no deserving person is denied an education at Takshashila for the lack of means.”

Nitin Pai, Co-Founder and Director, Takshashila

Takshashila is a non-partisan, non-profit organisation and an independent centre for research and education in public policy. With a mission to strengthen the Indian Republic, it advocates the values of freedom, openness, tolerance, pluralism and responsible citizenship.
