LiveLoveLaugh Foundation, India
Endowment Fund
LiveLoveLaugh Foundation (LLL) was established in 2015 by actor Deepika Padukone, after her diagnosis with anxiety and depression. While researching her own illness, Deepika was exposed to two stark realities: a) Severe lack of information and awareness about mental health b) Mental illness is a taboo topic in India and the stigma associated with it is a significant barrier preventing those affected from seeking help.
Mazumdar Shaw Philanthropy has enabled LLL to give hope to people experiencing stress, anxiety and depression, through its support of initiatives in digital awareness, nationwide public campaigns, a lecture series with Deepika Padukone, and research/survey reports.
Among our most passionate supporters, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw has been on our Board of Trustees since 2017. As one of our key ongoing donors, her vast experience and advice has shaped our initiatives. We greatly value and cherish her longstanding association with us.”
