Centre for Social and Economic Progress, India

Endowment Fund

The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) conducts in-depth, policy relevant research and provides evidence-based recommendations to the challenges facing India and the world. It draws on the expertise of its researchers, extensive interactions with policy makers as well as convening power to enhance the impact of research. CSEP researchers participate frequently in public events and write for leading Indian and global publications to disseminate their work to wider audiences. All CSEP research and policy recommendations are freely available to the public.

MSP support makes it possible for CSEP experts to provide practical, relevant and effective solutions. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is part of CSEP’s Founders Circle, an eminent body of industry experts and community leaders actively invested in the intellectual life of CSEP Research Foundation. She is also on CSEP’s Board of Directors.

Engaging with stakeholders (from the government, academia, civil society or our peers in the think tank ecosystem) is at the heart of our work. We organise periodic convenings to disseminate research findings and inform the policy discourse. The support and participation from Kiran in flagship events has been most encouraging.
