The Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw Lecture Series
The Institute of Bioinformatics & Applied Biotechnology (IBAB), located in Electronic City, Bangalore, was founded in 2001 as a nonprofit by the Government of Karnataka. Its mandate is education, research and promoting entrepreneurship in the biosciences. In 2011, Mazumdar Shaw Philanthropy endowed a lecture series at IBAB, which has since brought some of the most renowned researchers in the world to the IBAB campus.
The prestigious KMS Lecture Series continues to build vital bridges between scientists across the world. It has provided visibility to our institute and enabled collaborative opportunities for IBAB faculty with renowned scientists. We are extremely honoured to have the opportunity to host this lecture series.”
